The current search result page with Confluence users are the default export option. This is very fast and you will be able to download the export file almost instantly. The Export button will be available right Swayze immeadiately when this option is selected.

It is possible to export ALL users for a given search but this can be a time consuming job depending on the number of Confluence users in the Confluence instance. You start the full export by clicking the Start button. The job will know select all Confluence users that match the given filter in batches defined by search. So if your users per page was 50, the batch will be 50 when selecting all users.
when When the full export job has completed an Export button will be available in order to export users to the desired format.
